As mentioned in a previous post, mangoes are my absolute favourite Summer fruit! I made the boys this delicious mango mint smoothie yesterday and just had to share it. The banana and avo give it that creamy texture, the mango adds the sweetness and the mint gives just a touch of fresh flavour. It really is delicious!
Once again, I don't know what I would do without my beloved Nutribullet. I use it at least twice a day either for smoothies or to purée baby food. If you are struggling for Christmas present ideas this is really a great one for a foodie/health conscious loved one (I say loved one because they are quite pricey but you can always club together with a few people to spoil someone). Method & Ingredients
Blend and enjoy (makes 2 servings):
- 1 medium mango
- 1 frozen banana
- Handful of fresh mint
- 1/2 an avo
- 2 tbsp of full cream greek yoghurt
- 1/2 a cup of milk
- Lots of ice
- Optional: Add chai seeds or a scoop of vanilla whey protein powder
